Robinhood Introduces a Crypto Wallet for Android

Robinhood has officially released its cryptocurrency wallet for Android users, expanding access to millions of potential crypto users around the world.

The Android launch comes one year after the launch of Robinhood Wallet for iOS users globally.

The Android app was previously in beta, with a waitlist open for registrations. Now, with the official release, all customers who were on the waitlist can now download the Android wallet and get started, according to a statement from Robinhood on Wednesday.

According to Johann Kerbrat, general manager of Robinhood Crypto, the Android launch is a “big step forward” in the company’s commitment to making crypto more accessible and integrated into daily life for millions of people worldwide.
