Tether Launches a USDT Recovery Tool
Tether, the company behind the USDT stablecoin, has announced a new tool for recovering assets. This feature allows for the transfer of USDT between different blockchains in the event of a failure on one of the supported networks.
The company conducts thorough risk assessments before launching on a new blockchain, but unforeseen technical difficulties can still occur.
With this tool, users can confirm their ownership of a wallet on a malfunctioning blockchain and receive their USDT on a different network through a simple signature process on the web interface.
Additionally, support for hardware wallets such as Ledger or Trezor has been implemented for added security. The USDT stablecoin is available on various networks, including Ethereum, Solana, Algorand, Avalanche, EOS, Near, and Tron.
