FTX Founder Believes Crypto Adoption Will Increase in 2022
Sam Bankman-Fried, founder of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, believes clarity provided by regulators from all over the world will boost the institutional adoption of cryptocurrencies in 2022 and the future.
During and interview with Bloomberg, the FTX CEO has said that in general he is “optimistic” about 2022:
“The things that make me optimistic basically are more regulatory clarity in the US and globally which I think could help a ton on institutional adoption.”
He is quite sure that regulatory clarity will become a key driver in the adoption of cryptocurrencies by institutions. He added:
“A lot of it depends on exactly what happens on the regulatory front as well.”
He also believes that if jurisdictions “feel like they’re getting regulatory clarity,” that adoption could come in a “tidal wave.”
He also said that “a lot of different governments announced that there will be regulatory frameworks coming out over the next year.”
