In an interview with Fortune, Jenny Johnson, CEO of Franklin Templeton, a $1.5 trillion asset management company, revealed that she personally holds investments in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

She also owns governance tokens for platforms like Uniswap and SushiSwap. However, Johnson emphasized that her digital asset investments are relatively insignificant compared to the overall portfolio of Franklin Templeton.

When it comes to non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Johnson stated that she prefers to make investments based on financial returns rather than collectible assets.

Nonetheless, she acknowledged the potential for profitability in the NFT market, comparing it to art where the market value is based on the demand for it.

In September, Franklin Templeton filed an application with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to register a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF).
