Pyth Network Announces PYTH Airdrop Among 75,000 Wallets
The Pyth Network oracle network is implementing a retrospective cross-chain airdrop scheme for PYTH tokens.
The distribution includes 75,000 participants who have actively engaged with over 200 applications on 27 different blockchains.
The ecosystems supported by the Pyth Network include Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, zkSync, Aptos, Sui, Cosmos, and Solana. In addition to the dapp users, those with specific roles on Discord and holders of official NFTs from Pyth Network are also eligible to receive tokens through this program.
According to the representatives of Pyth Network, this is the largest airdrop program in the Web3 and DeFi space, with a focus on usage rather than token distribution.
Snapshots of social and on-chain activity have already been taken, but the date for claiming the coins has not yet been announced.
To check eligibility, users can visit a dedicated website. Within the Solana blockchain, 6% of the total supply of tokens (600 million PYTH) has been set aside for the airdrop.
