Ark Invest CEO Believes BTC Will Reach $1.5M by 2030
Ark Invest CEO Catherine Wood believes that the cryptocurrency market will experience positive growth in the coming years.
She claims that the growth could become explosive if institutional capital enters the Bitcoin (BTC) market.
Wood also notes that BTC already holds up to 50% of gold’s market capitalization. Institutional investors currently hold approximately 6.5% of their funds in digital currency.
She attributes the growing turnover of BTC in emerging markets to increasing inflationary risks, claiming that if the number of retail and corporate investors move towards cryptocurrency, its value will continue to surge.
Recently, Ark Invest pulled off a profitable sale of Coinbase shares, taking advantage of the crypto company’s annual maximum total capitalization.
Wood has set a highly ambitious prediction, forecasting that BTC could reach $1.5 million by 2030.
