Ripple Launches Analogue of MetaMask Wallet for XRP
Ripple’s developers have created Crossmark, the first browser-based digital wallet for the XRP Ledger network.
It supports most of the built-in features and types of transactions found on MetaMask by ConsenSys, and it will be available for Chrome, Opera, and Firefox.
It can be integrated with XUMM mobile, with potential future integration of Gem Wallet and Ledger.
Unfortunately, the necessary tools to enable interaction between different wallets on the XRP Ledger have yet to be developed.
Crossmark is still in its early stages of testing by a select group of users and a public launch of the updated wallet is expected in the upcoming months.
This follows Ripple’s launch of its CBDC and stablecoin issuance platform based on the XRP Ledger earlier in May.
