Blockchain Project Near Foundation Teams Up with Alibaba Cloud
The Near Foundation, the blockchain project behind the Near ecosystem, have recently revealed a partnership with Alibaba Cloud.
Through this collaboration, Near Foundation is looking to bolster Web3 initiatives in the Asian and Middle Eastern regions.
The advent of the partnership between the two gives Near Foundation access to the developer’s ecosystem of Alibaba Cloud, which enables it to establish validator nodes with plug-and-play ease.
This partnership also provides access for developers and users to RPC services, in addition to multiple blockchain indexing that furnishes various APIs for data query.
In line with this partnership news, the native NEAR token saw a 9% growth over the day, with CoinGecko recording its price at $1.58.
This current price is about 92% lower than its high in January 2022 at $20.44. With the taking over of Joseph Tsai as chairman of Alibaba, there has been a bolstering of Web3 investments in the market.
The representative from Alibaba explained that, “The partnership between the Near Foundation and Alibaba Cloud is significant as we continue to support Web3 programmers.
It is also important for developers and validators in Asian markets, as they can use the comprehensive infrastructure of Alibaba Cloud.”
