Arthur Hayes Believes China Will Become a Leader in Cryptosphere
Arthur Hayes, co-founder of crypto exchange BitMEX, has recently expressed on the platform’s blog his disappointment in the United State’s repression of the blockchain industry.
He argues this hinders its growth and creates an environment for US-based companies and funds to relocate abroad, such as to China.
Hayes suggests that China could capitalize from this shift, and, if they were to ease their crypto policy retail and corporate investors would see an increase in the price of Bitcoin.
He concluded by highlighting the potential for Hong Kong to become a major capital hub for the cryptocurrency, while the American market has become increasingly less attractive.
