Ethereum Foundation Devs Launch Patches for Beacon Chain Finality Issues

The Ethereum Foundation recently released software updates to address the finality issues experienced by the beacon chain on Thursday and Friday.

The patches were made available to clients Prysm and Teku, allowing them to update their systems. Although end users of Ethereum did not face any transaction issues, the full cause of the finality issues is still being investigated.

Arnold Toh, a research analyst at The Block, noted that the timely response from the Ethereum community is encouraging, yet the finality issues serve as a reminder that the beacon chain is still being developed.
