ETH’s Exchange Supply Falls 37% in Six Months: Report
The price of Ether is hovering around $1,600, however, the coin has recently $1,487 amid renewed sales triggered by US inflation data.
According to Santiment analysts, the operational rebound is due to the low exchange offer of Ether. Over the past six months, the volume of crypto on trading floors has decreased by more than 37%.
The researchers of the company have found that traders gradually withdrew ETH from exchange wallets after the September update of The Merge blockchain. That is, in six months the number of coins available for purchase on centralized exchanges has decreased shartply.
As of February 13, the exchange balance of Ether decreased to 13.36 million.
