Asset Manager Fidelity Files Trademark Applications Related to NFTs

Fidelity Investments, a well-known asset manager, has filed three trademark applications related to the metaverse, NFTs, digital real estate and crypto trading.
According to the filing, the company plans to offer services in alternate realities.
Fidelity’s cryptocurrency division plans to expand its staff and hire 100 employees in addition to about 500 employees.
The company opened last month a waiting list for retail-focused product Fidelity Crypto.
