ChainSafe Attracts $18.8M to Work on Multi-Chain Solutions
Infrastructure company ChainSafe has raised $18.8 million in a Series A funding round led by Canadian venture capital firm Round13.
The funding round has also seen the participation of ConsenSys, HashKey Capital, NGC Ventures and Digital Finance. The firm has reported that the funds will be used to further develop the platform.
ChainSafe was founded in 2017 and employs 120 people from 33 countries.
Initially focused on Ethereum, the firm eventually moved to a multi-chain concept, focusing on creating tools for developers.
One of the ChainSafe projects is Web3.unity. It is an SDK for connecting Unity games to blockchain solutions and cross-chain bridges. Another product of the company is the Ethereum client Lodestar.
