A Popular Crypto Blogger is Accused of Participating in Pump & Dump Schemes
A researcher named ZachXBT has opened a Twitter discussion thread in which he has accused crypto investor and blogger Lark Davis of repeatedly participating in Pump & Dump schemes.
The author of the thread has given eight examples of how Davis’ wallet (he found the address in the public domain) received tokens from new low-cap crypto projects.
After publishing advertising posts, the blogger reportedly sold the received coins. According to ZachXBT, Davis earned more than $1.2 million in this way.
The researcher has said that he was prompted to “take a closer look” at the influencer’s persona by requests from people who reportedly lost money on the projects that he advertised.
According to ZachXBT, Davis reportedly made the most profit from NFT service SHOPX, which gave him 120,000 tokens.
