Crypto Exchange Mt․Gox Will Stop Accepting Applications for Reimbursement of Funds

According to a letter sent to creditors, bankrupt crypto exchange Mt․Gox will stop accepting applications for reimbursement of funds from September 15 in favor of third parties as part of the civil rehabilitation process.
The ban will last until the end of the base repayment period. The specific date will be determined by the rehabilitation trustee with the permission of the court.
During this period, the assignment, transfer or succession, pledge or other disposal of claims for rehabilitation is prohibited. According to the letter, this is necessary “to ensure safe and reliable payments.”
The Rehabilitation Trustee will cease accepting applications for referral procedures through all available communication channels.
