Samsung Asset Management Will Launch Asia’s First Blockchain ETF on June 23
Samsung Asset Management will launch on June 23 an ETF focused on a blockchain company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
According to the prospectus, the goal of the product is to achieve long-term capital growth through investments in the shares of companies actively involved in the development and implementation of DLT.
Samsung Asset Management says its blockchain ETF is “a first in the history of Hong Kong and Asia.”
Carmen Chung, head of passive investment of the company, has noted that the growing demand for technology-based applications and has predicted the growth of the industry in the future.
She has said:
“The need for data processing and storage is increasing as the digital world develops. In the future, blockchain will be widely used by various enterprises in order to improve data efficiency and security.”
