Bakkt Expects Two-fold Increase in Revenue in 2022
According to the expectations presented by the management of institutional platform Bakkt after the publication of the financial statements, the company has set a goal to achieve revenue growth from $39.4 million last year to $60 million-$80 million by the end of the year.
On October 14, shareholders of VPC Impact Acquisition Holdings at an extraordinary meeting approved the merger with Bakkt.
The increase in the revenue of the combined company in 2021 amounted to 38%. The driver was a significant increase in transactional income from loyalty programs.
Digital asset conversions grew 34% year-on-year in the fourth quarter to 222 million. The number of accounts making at least one transaction on the platform increased 13% to 867,000.
