MicroStrategy Acquires $2 Billion in Bitcoins

MicroStrategy Inc. has recently purchased approximately 27,200 Bitcoins for about $2.03 billion, the largest acquisition made by the company since it first started acquiring the digital asset more than four years ago.
This purchase was made between October 31 and November 10, as revealed in a statement released on Monday.
This is the biggest purchase the company has made since it announced its acquisition of 29,646 Bitcoins in December 2020.
MicroStrategy, a software enterprise company, has now incorporated purchasing cryptocurrency into its corporate strategy. This decision was made by co-founder and Chairman Michael Saylor in 2020 as a safeguard against inflation.
