Metaplanet Acquires $6.9M in Bitcoin

Metaplanet Inc., a Japanese investment firm, has announced that it has acquired an additional 107.913 Bitcoin, worth about 1 billion yen ($6.9 million).
The firm continues to show optimism towards the world’s largest cryptocurrency.
This latest purchase was made at an average price of 9.26 million yen ($64,168) per Bitcoin, bringing the company’s total holdings to 506.745 Bitcoin, worth approximately $32.2 million at the current market price.
According to the firm’s latest disclosure, all of its Bitcoin was acquired for 4.75 billion yen at an average price of 9.37 million yen ($64,931) per Bitcoin.
