Craig Wright Admits He Is Not Bitcoin Creator Satoshi Nakamoto

On July 16, Craig Wright posted a legal statement on his website, clarifying that he is not Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin.
This statement was released following a recent ruling by the UK High Court of Justice and directing visitors to read the findings from the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA), a group promoting innovation and open-source development in the crypto space.
The disclaimer also included Wright’s acknowledgment that he did not author the Bitcoin white paper and that he does not hold a copyright to the technology described in it.
This statement came after Wright had previously sued Bitcoin developers in 2023 for allegedly infringing on his copyrights and claiming ownership of the Bitcoin database.
