Binance’s France Subsidiary Changes its Ownership

Binance France’s new shareholders now have equal ownership of the company, after the French Financial Markets Authority issued a warning to the company in December.
In response to issues involving the original beneficial owner and various US regulatory agencies, Binance France was required to find new shareholders.
This change was necessary in order to satisfy the AMF.
The former Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao, has already stepped down from the company due to his guilty plea and subsequent prison sentence, although he has yet to begin serving his term.
