Trump Media Inks Deal With Crypto.com to Launch US-focused ETFs
President Trump’s social media company is advancing towards becoming a financial services firm, aiming to offer investment products, including crypto, to retail investors.
Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent of Truth Social—Trump’s primary online platform—announced on Tuesday a binding agreement with a crypto trading platform and a newly established Florida investment firm to launch a series of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) by year-end.
This move to market ETFs seeks to provide Trump Media with a more stable revenue stream, following challenges in attracting advertising revenue for Truth Social.
In this agreement, Trump Media is partnering with Crypto.com, a digital asset trading platform serving over 140 million customers, and Yorkville America Digital, linked to the founders of Yorkville Advisors, a New Jersey-based investment firm.
