Ripple Wins Licenses in New York and Texas
Ripple has recently announced its expansion in the United States through the acquisition of two important licenses. These licenses, the Money Transmitter Licenses (MTLs), were obtained in New York and Texas, both known for their strict regulatory requirements.
With these MTLs, Ripple customers can now use the company’s services for cross-border payments within the US, while allowing Ripple to handle the entire transaction process on their behalf.
This brings Ripple’s total number of MTLs in the country to over 50, in addition to its extensive portfolio of 60 licenses worldwide.
The newly acquired licenses in New York and Texas will enable Ripple to offer its compliance-focused payment solutions to a broader range of customers in these regions.
