Bernstein: Bitcoin Will Reach $200,000 in 2025
Analysts at the research and brokerage firm Bernstein argue that their current prediction of a $200,000 bitcoin price by the end of 2025 is actually conservative.
They urge skeptics to take into account the limited supply of cryptocurrency, especially in the face of record levels of US debt. In a message to clients on Wednesday, Gautam Chhugani, the lead for digital assets at Bernstein, stated:
“Bitcoin is going to $200,000 this cycle (2025 end). We are being conservative.”
This forecast comes after Bernstein released their “Bitcoin Blackbook,” which aims to make the cryptocurrency more accessible and appealing to institutional investors.
Chhugani goes on to point out that even for those who are skeptical about bitcoin, it may be worth considering as a “limited supply, ‘store of value’ digital asset” in a world where US debt has reached over $35 trillion and inflation is still a looming threat.
