During a forum held by Tsinghua University, minister of finance in China, highlighted the importance of studying cryptocurrencies closely in response to remarks made on the US campaign trail.

However, he also emphasized the need to study the ever-changing international landscape and policy adjustments, as it is a crucial aspect of digital economy development.
Zhu specifically referenced Republican Candidate Donald Trump’s comments, suggesting that Beijing should take action in response. At the July Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Trump stated that the US must fully embrace the crypto industry or else “China will do it.”
