DZ Bank Teams Up with Boerse Stuttgart to Offer Crypto Trading and Custody Services

DZ Bank, the second-largest financial institution in Germany, has joined forces with Boerse Stuttgart Digital in order to offer cryptocurrency trading and custody services to its cooperative bank network.
This partnership will allow over 700 cooperative banks that fall under DZ Bank to offer their retail customers the option to access digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ether.
The regulated platform plans to gradually introduce the new crypto trading feature, starting with select retail clients later this year.
The necessary operational and technical preparations are already in progress and the first banks are expected to be connected by the end of 2024.
