Donald Trump Reaffirms Support for Crypto
United States presidential candidate Donald Trump has once again expressed his strong support for cryptocurrency and has been endorsed by tech billionaire Elon Musk to lead a new government task force.
Speaking at the Economic Club5th, the former president reaffirmed his backing for the digital asset industry.
Trump promised that if he were to be reelected, he would eliminate at least ten old regulations for every new one introduced, saying:
“Rather than attacking industries of the future, we will embrace them, including making America the global capital of crypto and Bitcoin.”
Trump also thanked Tesla CEO Elon Musk for his endorsement, stating that he plans to create a government efficiency commission that will conduct a detailed financial and performance audit of the entire federal government.
This commission will also make recommendations for major reforms. “We need to do it, and we can’t continue on the same path,” Trump emphasized.
