Former Mt. Gox CEO Plans to Launch a Crypto Exchange in Europe

Mark Karpeles, the former CEO of Mt. Gox, will be launching a new cryptocurrency exchange called EllipX in September.
The platform, initially catering to European users, aims to eventually provide global services and comply with the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation.
Karpeles also plans to promote transparency through regular third-party audits and highlights the advancements in security and technology in the cryptocurrency industry, making the safe storage of digital assets possible.
In an interview, Karpeles emphasized the need for transparency and setting an example in the industry.
