Mt. Gox Creditors Report Unauthorized Access Attempts to Their Accounts

Reports have flooded a Mt. Gox creditor subreddit in the past 24 hours as users noticed multiple login attempts on their accounts, causing suspicion of a potential cyberattack.
Several members of the ‘r/mtgoxinsolvency’ subreddit shared difficulties logging into their Mt. Gox accounts, and others shared screenshots displaying numerous unauthorized login attempts.
Speculation about a possible “brute-force” attack has arisen, but some have suggested it could simply be a technical issue with the website.
One r/mtgoxinsolvency user expressed concern after receiving 15 notifications for account logins and being unable to access their account, asking if Mt. Gox was currently under attack.
