Inflows into Crypto-based Funds Reached $2B Last Month
According to the most recent “Digital Asset Fund Flows” report by CoinShares, digital asset funds experienced their fourth consecutive week of inflows, as of June 3.
The report showed that for the final week of May, digital asset funds received $185 million in inflows, with a total of $2 billion for the month.
Year-to-date, the inflow of capital has surpassed $15 billion. The majority of the weekly inflows were from the United States, with $130 million, but there were also outflows of $260 million from incumbent issuers in the country.
Bitcoin dominated the weekly inflows, receiving $148 million in investment flows. However, there were also short Bitcoin funds that experienced outflows of $3.5 million for the week, bringing the monthly total to $12.5 million.
This could suggest that overall sentiment among Bitcoin investors remains positive.
