Binance Sets Up a Board of Directors

Binance Holdings Ltd. has appointed its first board of directors, marking a significant event in the company’s tumultuous year, according to an article from Bloomberg.

The board is composed of seven individuals, including CEO Richard Teng and three other company executives: Heina Chen, Jinkai He, and Lilai Wang.

It also includes three outside members: Gabriel Abed, Arnaud Ventura, and Xin Wang, as reported by Bloomberg. Abed, who recently resigned from his role as the Ambassador of Barbados to the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, serves as one of the outside members.

Ventura, a successful entrepreneur who has founded several companies, including PlaNet Finance, and Wang, the CEO of Bayview Acquisition Corp. and an advisor in mergers and acquisitions for financial institutions, round out the outside members of the board.

While it is unclear exactly when the board of directors was announced, it is now listed on Binance’s website.
