Bloomberg Analysts Predict Bitcoin ETFs Could Outperform Gold ETF Market
The rise in popularity of Bitcoin has led to a surge in crypto ETFs investment, indicating a growing interest from investors in this instrument.
According to Bloomberg analysts, it is possible that within the next two years, the Bitcoin ETF may surpass the gold ETF in terms of total accumulated capital.
In just the past six weeks, over $5 billion has been invested in BTC ETFs, since its introduction into the American stock market in early January.
It is projected that by the end of 2022, these digital asset funds may hold more investments than those pouring into gold through traditional funds.
BitMEX Research analysts have reported that as of February 25, Bitcoin ETFs held over $37.3 billion, while crypto ETFs investing in gold accumulated around $88 billion.
The majority of these funds were funneled into the SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) fund, which saw a decrease in investments of $3.6 billion since January 11.
