BlackRock to Keep Investing in Bitcoin
In early January, American markets saw the arrival of crypto ETFs that specifically invest in Bitcoin, with investment powerhouse BlackRock being among the companies to launch such a tool. This has opened up opportunities for institutional investors to explore the potential of digital currency.
Rick Rieder, the head of BlackRock’s investment division, stated that the company plans to increase their investment in Bitcoin in the future.
As the concept of cryptocurrencies becomes more established, BTC is expected to gain value as a distinct and separate asset class.
Rick Rieder asserts that Bitcoin will gradually become integrated into the financial system and will become a regular inclusion in investment portfolios. With the rise of tools to facilitate the buying, selling, and owning of cryptocurrencies, it will become easier for people to adopt this new asset class.
