Bitcoin ETFs Daily Volume Exceeds That of 500 ETFs Launched Last Year

The combined volume of 10 spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds approved on January 16 has surpassed the total volume of all 500 ETFs launched in 2023 by over three times.

According to data from Yahoo Finance, the 10 ETFs generated a total volume of over $1.8 billion on January 16th, with notable contributions from Grayscale, BlackRock, and Fidelity.

In comparison, all 500 ETFs launched in the United States in 2023 only saw a combined trading volume of $450 million.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust was the top performer, attracting net inflows of over $497 million in the past three days.

Overall, the new spot Bitcoin ETF products have collectively achieved a trading volume of nearly $10 billion in the first three days of trading, as reported by Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart.
