Grayscale is Discussing its BTC ETF Role with JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs

Reading Time: < 1 minute

According to sources familiar with the matter, Grayscale Investments is currently in discussions with investment banks JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs about potentially playing a role in its proposed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF).

This news comes after Grayscale recently filed an amended S-3 application with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, although the company did not list any authorized participants.

It was also reported that Goldman Sachs is also in talks with BlackRock to potentially serve as an authorized participant for their ETF, and BlackRock has already named Jane Street and JPMorgan as authorized participants in their filing.

It should be noted that the inclusion of authorized participants in S-1 and S-3 filings is not mandatory, so other financial firms could still join the ventures.
