OKX Fixes Vulnerability in iOS App
The team at cryptocurrency exchange OKX has successfully resolved a vulnerability found in their iOS wallet application.
They have expressed their gratitude to the CertiK researchers for identifying the issue and advised all users to update to the latest version (6.45.0) as soon as possible.
CertiK has reported that the vulnerability, which could have resulted in the compromise of important data and cryptocurrency assets, was a critical case of remote code execution.
On the other hand, OKX representatives have explained that the vulnerability was in fact found in a third-party service provider.
They have also assured users that no harm was done to their assets. Earlier, analysts at CertiK uncovered a serious vulnerability in Solana’s Saga smartphone, which could potentially lead to the theft of a user’s cryptocurrency assets.
