TRM Labs Enters into Association With Swyftx to Fight Scams
TRM Labs and Australian exchange Swyftx have teamed up to combat cryptocurrency scams in the country.
As part of the effort, Australian crypto users who activate two-factor authentication on their accounts will receive AUD 10 worth of Bitcoin.
This initiative was launched during the Australian government’s Scam Awareness Week and aims to educate users on the importance of protecting their accounts to avoid falling victim to fraud.
Two-factor authentication requires two forms of identification to access accounts, providing a higher level of security than traditional single-factor processes.
This partnership between TRM Labs and Swyftx comes as Australia has been tightening its cryptocurrency regulation policies, with regulators taking action against companies like Block Earner and eToro.
