UAE-based Investors Prefer Bitcoin Investments: Survey
In recent years, the United Arab Emirates has heavily invested in building a robust infrastructure for the blockchain industry.
This has not only led to an increase in the adoption of digital currencies, but also created favorable conditions for startups and investors.
A survey conducted by the KuCoin exchange revealed that 72% of crypto investors in the UAE prefer Bitcoin, making it the most popular digital asset in the country.
Additionally, 59% of respondents stated their preference for long-term investments in digital assets, with 35% believing that this is a reliable way to protect their capital in times of rising inflation.
While there is a growing interest in tokenized collections (NFTs) among 9% of exchange users, only 22% use cryptocurrency for daily transactions.
Despite this, the UAE remains dedicated to developing its blockchain infrastructure and positioning itself as a hub for digital currency innovation.
