The creators of Uniswap have unveiled a new cryptocurrency wallet designed specifically for users of the Android operating system.

According to the company’s blog, Uniswap was initially released on iOS in April and quickly became one of the top three most downloaded wallets.

Now, Android users can also access the wallet for easier and more secure sharing.

Some of the wallet’s features include the ability to detect popular cryptocurrencies, automatic switching between the main second-layer networks, and fast exchange capabilities.

Additionally, the wallet offers a swap protection feature to guard against manipulative extraction value (MEV). The beta version of the wallet currently supports Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, and Arbitrum, as stated on the company’s website.

The developers have also promised to integrate other networks in the near future. Previously, Uniswap Labs had launched a protocol for consolidating liquidity from decentralized exchanges, known as UniswapX.
