Report: Hodler Reserves Rose by 62,800 BTC in July
Overall in the first half of July, long-term Bitcoin holders increased their reserves by 62,800 BTC. This total amounted to $1.83 billion being invested in the cryptocurrency, breaking the record set on May 21.
Glassnode analysts point to the fact that the number of Bitcoin hodlers is increasing at a faster pace than was seen in March-April 2021.
Santiment’s data also showed a steady growth of large addresses, holding at least 100 BTC, to a total of 15,845.
Sharks and whales are taking advantage of the low prices of Bitcoin, and small buyers also feel optimistic that Bitcoin will surge soon.
The number of wallets with up to 0.1 BTC has risen to 36.16 million while the number of wallets containing from 0.1 to 10 bitcoins is also increasing.
