Narval Attracts $4M from BlockTower VC and Others

Startup Narval has just raised $4 million in a seed funding round, led by BlockTower VC. Also contributing to the round were a16z, Fabric Ventures Bpifrance, Cherry Crypto, Motier Ventures and Frst Capital.
The company CEO Gregory Jessner says the company will use the proceeds from the raise to recruit engineers and designers, as well as for marketing purposes.
Narval is focused on providing businesses with a secure way to interact with cryptocurrencies through their platform- enabling granular access to digital assets.
This comes at a time when venture deals for the crypto industry had dropped 71% in June, and investor investment towards the sector had totaled $2.6 billion in the first quarter, according to Trammell Venture Partners.
