Apple has rejected a recent update request for the Zeus non-custodial wallet app for Lightning Network and stated that the app facilitates the transfer of virtual currency without being verified by a relevant exchange or recognized financial institution.

However, the previous version of the wallet is still available on the App Store.

Project co-founder Evan Kaloudis said the team had commented on the issue and resubmitted their update request.

Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino commented that, because the product is non-custodial, it should be easy for the team to get it back.

Recently, Apple also threatened to remove the application of the decentralized social network Damus and its developer, William Casarin, claimed that he may need to remove the Satoshi content monetization function to be allowed to stay on the App Store.
