Whales Start Getting Rid of their Bitcoins
It appears that Bitcoin whales have generally adopted an accumulative approach since early April, with Santiment revealing that wallets carrying between 1,000 and 10,000 BTC have gathered up a total of 84,897 Bitcoins, now representing 23.86% of the entire cryptocurrency supply.
However, a possible sale could be imminent as the Lookonchain team has spotted an alarming signal: a wallet has transferred 1,750 BTC valued at over $48 million to Binance.
This could mean that this investor is getting ready to let go of some of their coins. Bitcoin has been unable to stay above the $27,000 threshold, instead dropping to $26,763 in the night of Friday, May 19, and could go below $26,000 in the next 24 hours if more whales join the sale.
