Trezor Integrates CoinJoin’s Bitcoin Transaction Mixing Tech into its Wallets
Hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor has announced the integration of Wasabi Wallet’s CoinJoin transaction privacy technology into their devices.
However, the option will not be available in their Model One series gadgets.
The partnership between the two parties was first announced back in September 2022, with Karo Zagorus, head of public relations and reputation at developer zkSNACKs, having clarified that talks between Trezor and them began in 2019.
Media reports in February 2023 revealed that the project had taken control of the production of chips for the flagship Model T product in order to speed up the release.
In November 2022, as FTX collapsed, experts noted an increase in the sales of hardware wallets such as Trezor. Binance, and Polychain Capital, a venture capital firm, expressed interest in investing in crypto asset storage solutions, with the decentralized exchange 1inch Network announcing the launch of a hardware custodial solution.
