Coinbase Plans to Integrate Lightning Network

Brian Armstrong, CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, has promised to implement the Bitcoin’s Lightning Network (LN) micropayment network “in some capacity.”
This was in response to criticism that he is “actively ignoring” the L2 scaling solution for Bitcoin. Despite this, the head of Coinbase did not provide any details or a timeline concerning the initiative.
He did, however, mention that he has been deleting tweets automatically, explaining why there was no mention of the Lightning Network on his Twitter account.
Coinbase would join other exchanges such as Bitfinex, Kraken, OKX and BitMEX which already have integrated the LN. The only other major exchange yet to join is Binance.
