The feature is available in partnership with Latin American crypto company Ripio.
Since its launch in December 2021, over 2 million users have traded crypto on Mercado Pago in Brazil, and more than 150,000 did so in the first month of its launch in Mexico.
Matías Spagui, the senior director of Mercado Pago in Chile, commented that with this new service, they seek to give millions of Chileans access to the crypto world in an educational, secure and simple way, creating greater financial inclusion.
