Unstoppable Domains has announced the launch of their domain name service for the Polygon network, allowing users to create addresses that end in .polygon.

According to Sanket Shah, vice president and head of development at Polygon Labs, the service will “provide our community with a digital identity so that users can log into decentralized applications without revealing their personal information, as well as make cryptocurrency transactions without long addresses.”

The service is now available in 750 applications, games, and metaverses, with the sale of addresses beginning on March 16th, including the auction of premium domains such as gamer.polygon.

This comes shortly after the launch of Telegram’s marketplace for selling account IDs in October 2022, which operates on the basis of the Telegram Open Network blockchain and accepts native TON tokens for payment.
