Near Protocol Launches Operating System for Blockchains
The Near Protocol team has unveiled their Blockchain Operation System (BOS) solution, which they have dubbed “an operating system for blockchains.”
According to Illia Polosukhin, co-founder of the project, the platform is designed to enable smoother interaction with the Web3 segment, and is currently compatible with Near Protocol and Ethereum Virtual Machine, with other blockchains to be added in the future.
The operating system is intended to help developers build and launch new products, using a “composable decentralized frontend as a framework” that is capable of working with Web 2.0 and Web3 services, as well as crypto wallets.
As BOS advances, it is set to create a bridge for programmable communication between different blockchains, and provide a unified entry point for all users and developers, while uniting all Web3 applications in one place.
