Vitalik Buterin Suggests a Way to Improve Privacy in Ethereum Network
Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, has said that privacy is the network’s “biggest remaining problem” and has proposed a solution.
According to him, by default, all information in the public blockchain is public, which means the potential disclosure of not only cryptocurrency transactions, but also information about ENS registration, any types of NFTs, as well as other data.
He has proposed using the concept of hidden addresses (stealth address) to ensure privacy.
As part of the solution, the user creates a spending key (spending key) used to generate a meta address for transmission to the sender, which uses the data to create a hidden address through cryptographic calculations to send assets to it.
