US Billionaire Mark Cuban Will Testify in Voyager’s Case
Dallas Mavericks owner and US billionaire Mark Cuban will testify on February 2 in a lawsuit brought by clients of bankrupt crypto lender Voyager Digital for reportedly promoting unregulated crypto products and participating in a Ponzi scheme.
The court has denied the defendant’s motion to split the disclosure process into two sessions. According to the ruling, Cuban must provide the documents in full at one hearing.
Two employees of the Dallas Mavericks have also been ordered to testify before February 23. Applicants must complete this process by January 24. The court has demanded that they provide evidence in the case before the end of the working day on January 13.
This is about a complaint filed by law firm Moskowitz in August in which Cuban was accused of promoting Voyager Digital’s unregulated crypto products and participating in a Ponzi scheme.
